Terms and Conditions for the European Social Media Excellence Awards (ESMEA)

By participating in the European Social Media Excellence Awards (ESMEA), you agree to abide by the following Terms & Conditions. These apply to all influencers, nominees, sponsors, and event partners.

1. Eligibility

• Influencers & Nominees: Open to individuals, creators, and influencers actively engaged in social media platforms across Europe.
• Sponsors & Partners: Open to businesses, brands, and industry stakeholders who meet the event criteria.
• Content Creators: All submitted content must be the creator's original work or properly licensed.

2. Registration and Participation

• Nominees: To participate as a nominee, you must complete the registration form and submit your application before the published deadlines.
• Influencers & Sponsors: To register as an influencer or sponsor, please follow the outlined processes and complete the necessary agreements by the specified deadline.

3. Sponsorship & Payments

• Sponsors are required to make payments for sponsorship packages as outlined in their agreement. Payments must be received by the specified deadlines.
• Sponsors who do not fulfill payment obligations risk losing their sponsorship benefits.
• No refunds will be provided for any fees paid under any circumstances.

4. Event Modifications

• ESMEA reserves the right to modify the event format, schedule, or location, whether in-person or online, due to unforeseen circumstances.
• Participants and sponsors will be informed promptly if any significant changes are made.

5. Content Usage and Permissions

• Influencers & Nominees: By participating, you grant ESMEA the right to use, display, and promote your content (including social media posts, images, videos, and performance data) across our social media platforms, websites, and marketing channels. This usage is not limited to the event timeframe.
• Sponsorship and Brand Materials: Sponsors provide ESMEA with rights to use their logos, product images, and any related content for event marketing and post-event promotion.

6. Branding and Promotion

• Sponsors are responsible for ensuring the timely submission of their branding materials (logos, taglines, images) for integration into the event’s promotional efforts.
• Social Media Promotion: By becoming a sponsor or influencer, you agree to share official event content on your social media platforms as part of our promotional strategy.
• Customized Campaigns: Sponsors and influencers may collaborate with ESMEA to create customized marketing campaigns that highlight their involvement in the awards.

7. Conduct and Compliance

• Participants must maintain a professional demeanor and comply with ethical standards.
• ESMEA reserves the right to disqualify any participant whose conduct violates the event’s code of ethics or involves offensive or inappropriate content.

8. Liability

• ESMEA is not responsible for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages or losses, including loss of revenue, arising from the event.
• In case of any damage, injury, or loss during the event, participants and sponsors are fully responsible for their actions and will hold ESMEA harmless.

9. Dispute Resolution

• Any disputes will first be addressed through direct communication and negotiation. If an agreement cannot be reached, the issue will be settled according to the laws of the jurisdiction where the event is being hosted.
